Spinal injuries are often difficult to diagnose with a physical examination alone. Often times we need other forms of diagnostics to find the true cause of your pain. And not all injuries can be treated with spinal manipulation.
At our office we have recently purchased a True Digital Radiography unit capable of nearly perfect digital X-Rays to aid in our diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of your condition. Our MXRevolution General Radiography system and Vistek 20/20 Direct Digital imaging system is equipped with revolutionary CCD sensor technology and state of the art Opal-Rad DICOM software for analysis of spinal misalignments, spinal lordosis and kyphosis measurements and disc height measurements to the tenth of a millimeter. Should your films present a contraindication to spinal manipulation we can offer a variety of alternative treatments to better suit your condition.
X-Rays provide a great measuring tool to track your progress as well, documenting a reduction of a scoliosis or simply measuring a reduction in spinal misalignment. Not every patient requires X-Rays and our Doctors of Chiropractic will base their decision on clinical findings as well as your subjective complaints. If you would like a copy of your X-Rays we can put them on a disc for your home computer at no charge.
